In the kingdom of Somewhere Else...

Once upon a time there was a wise king, who ruled his kingdom with honour and wisdom. But as the kingdom grew, he found out that he couldn't manage the entirety of it anymore. But he couldn't trust his ministers completely, for politicians are a twisted kin, straight as a corkscrew. He turned to his court scientists, and together they developed a method for the king to multiply by mitosis. And so the king ate enormous amounts of food. Soon there were two of him, then four, then eight, and so on, and they all ruled with honour and wisdom.
