B'ellana entered the mess hall. She had been dreaming about the almond cake the entire duty. Now she was starving and almost crazy.
"Hello, Neelix, do you have anything with almonds?"
"I'm afraid you must use the replicator this time," he grinned with apologise.
"Computer, almond cake... No, belay that order. Three almond cakes."
Half an hour she was floating in the cloud of almond taste. And her baby was kicking with pleasure.
* * *
"Computer, another almond cake."
"Warning. Cyanide levels have reached the critical limit. Report to sickbay immediately."
"You know what, computer? Shut up and gim'me that bloody cake."
