Easy on the sauce, boyo

You know how sometimes all those huge series of events can be traced to one small thing? Well, I wouldn't be here if I heeded that old man who told me: "Easy on the sauce, boyo. This can take you places."

But there I was, celebrating the successful completion of my O-levels. I was on the top of the world, my whole life ahead of me.

Nobody can say with certainty how I ended up in the captain's chair of a pirate spaceship from another galaxy, but apparently it was epic. Enough contemplation for now, though. The bugs are coming.
