Seth hopped off his antigrav bike and began assembling the emitter. His work drew the curiosity of a creature he was certain he'd seen before.
[If you set the frequency too high, bad stuff could happen]
"I actually have some food this time, see?" Seth offered the animal half a ration bar. If he didn't know better, he would say the creature sighed in exasperation.
"I don't know, the frequency seems too low. What do you think?"
[Any higher, and it's gonna trigger a resonance cascade when the solar flare hits. Boom.]
"So I guess you don't like the food?"
