You don't need the twin paradox to know that time is relative. Minutes and hours drag slowly when there's no work at work. Every second seems like five when you're waiting for a family member who you had to take shopping because you're the only one with a driving licence. Planck time is very possibly the shortest unit of time possible. Yet when the traffic lights turn green, the amount of time elapsed between that and the first driver behind you starting to angrily honk their horn seems to be less than half that. And time before midnight just FLIES.
