Daughter of the Elements

It all felt like a dream. Leaving my mother when I was still a child and losing my brother just days later. I was terrified when I was sitting in the boat. I didn't know when or if ever I'll see my family again. And then we arrived. They welcomed me with open arms and eventually became my new family. They taught me things I didn't know were possible. Mistresses of their art, many of them already had white hair. They devoted their lives to their religion. To our religion.
Today is my initiation. To finally become one of them.
