Postcards from daily dreams

I dreamt about being in another realm
where I was trying not to overwhelm
myself by the dark murmur
and I just travelled further.
I dreamt about having feathers
I could fly away from others
and all the silly notions
I flew across the oceans.
I dreamt while being awake
hoping I could feel the Earth shake
thinking it would move me too
stop my heart being blue.
I dreamt about dreaming
my mind couldn’t stop screaming
for constant attention and approval
but also for the pretention removal.
I dreamt about being important without trying too hard (like a queen)
