Does she even have a heart anymore?
It's not something V really thinks about - who thinks about their internal organs on a daily basis? But, well. It's a fair question.
So much of her has been replaced or converted into new, emerging architecture. Something pumps her blood; there is circulation. There is a pulse for the ripperdocs to monitor and mutter, glibly; why isn't she dead yet?
Her brain is intact, more or less; she's paranoid about that for reasons she can't quite pinpoint.
But the only way time she knows she has a heart is when Johnny breaks it.
