"So hey..." The man called Bruce was looking at her curiously. She was used to being intimidating, as a Valkyrie, but that had been a long time ago.

"What?" She'd gotten out of the habit of politeness.

"Thor said he was nearly 1500 years old. And you're... older than him?"

She smiled. "Do I look it?"

"No, that's the thing. When do your people, uh... mature?"

"Men?" She snorted. "Never." And he laughed. She could come to like him. "At around 1000 years old."

"Okay..."

"Loki is 1053. Barely of legal marrying age."

Bruce smiled, sadly. "That... explains a lot."
