Love in a Box

Emma took a pen and neatly wrote down her phone number on the pamphlet, then put it back in the box. For weeks now, she was leaving doodles or short sweet messages for her. They only spoke a few times but she liked her. And Francesca always welcomed her with a smile. It was worth the try.

Francesca opened the door and took a box, filled with fresh organic vegetables. The subscription came every week. She took it to the kitchen and opened the fridge. She grabbed the pamphlet and threw it in the bin. She never looked at it.
