Jump

"Any idea where we are?"
"Largely uncharted space. I roughly triangulated our position. The nearby systems are catalogued but unexplored."
A power surge in the jump drive knocked the Erikson far off-course. No casualties, negligible damage to the ship itself but the drive core was almost fried.
Decision time. Captain pointed at the map.
"Helm, make the jump to this system. Hopefully it can sustain us till someone rescues us. Could be months and our supplies and fuel aren't infinite."

The jump was successful.
