The Cure

She was sitting in an empty waiting room, listening to the ticking of a clock. She had been waiting for about two hours. She was thinking of leaving already, but she had already signed the paper they gave her, and she wasn't sure if she wouldn't get in trouble if she did.

"Come in," a nurse finally told her and let her into the doctor's office. "After the tests we've done, you are the perfect candidate for our cure."

Incredible. She made it. She followed him with a smile. But didn't know that she would never leave the hospital again.
