"Nervous, Mrs. Thornton?" her sister-in-law's smile made Margaret blush.
Her upcoming wedding night brought a lot of emotions - nervousness not among them.
John took her to visit Hellstone the day before, to take her mind off the wedding.
There was just one free room at the inn.
The innkeeper wished "Mr. and Mrs." Thornton good night.
"I've never been alone with a man before," Margaret confided.
"It's new for me too," he caressed her cheek. "We've the rest of our life to get used to it."
It turned out they only needed one night.
Thought of repetition made Margaret smile.

Děkuju :) doporučuju přečíst knihu, film je sice fajn, ale kniha to celé posouvá ještě o maličko jinam. Každopádně jsem ráda, že to charakterově sedí :)

Ooh, the fandom is somewhat familiar to me... is that the series, where Richard Armitage Mr Thorton? owns a cotton factory or something, and there is a woman, who initially hates him, but ultimately, when his heart melts a little bit, she finds him kind of tolerable - to the point her heart melts too? :)
I love the heartwarming atmosphere here, it made me smile :)

Yes, that's the one. Couldn't help it, Richard Mr. Thornton just popped into my head and refused to leave :D I recommend reading the book first, then watching the mini-series ;) it's all a bit more complex.
