Pale fingers intertwine with long dark hair. Lashes flutter. Hand in hand, they float over ivy and dark green moss. The song is old, the dance is fast, their voices are intoxicating. Their breath is wet, dew sets on the leaves. The night is falling, the cold air caresses their skin. Their attires stroke the ground, the forest purrs. As stars start to shine, they dug into the soil. My eye, your eye, they whisper. My tongue, your tongue, they sing. My hand, your hand, they hold on. But as the mist gets too white to see, the fairies disappear.
