Lister leaned against the wall, giving a prefunctory nod here and there as Kryten droned on.
"...and of course, he's still in there. Technically speaking."
Lister glanced up. "Who?"
"Mr. Rimmer, sir. There's a back-up of his personality construct on this auxiliary soft-light bee. Which, as I said, makes it somewhat unethical to recycle-"
"Hang on! Rimmer is in there?"
"Only technically, sir. It's a safeguard in case of power failure; highly compressed. Starbug doesn't have the computing power to unpack it."
"But he's there. Like," Lister frowned, "sleeping?"
"Oh no, sir," Kryten said as Lister's eyes widened, "fully conscious."
